Emerville, California – Credence ID, a leading provider of mobile biometric and credential reading technology today announced the expansion of its leadership team with the addition of Robert (“Rob”) Garrigan as its new Vice President of Sales and Business Development for the Americas.
Growing demands for programs that require mobile identification of individuals for travel and refugee management as well as commercial identification and KYC projects has led the company to invest in additional senior leadership. Rob will be supporting the worldn’s leading solution providers and integrators who are addressing these critical and beneficial programs.

Prior to joining Credence ID, Rob held various leadership roles in sales and business development that focused on expanding client relationships and driving revenue. With over twenty years of experience with technology solutions in the financial services and public safety industries, Rob has a track record of building relationships and delivering exceptional services to customers globally. As Executive Vice President at Thomson Financial, Rob was responsible for successfully relaunching First Call’s business in Eurpoe, increasing revenues over 200% and expanding broker partnerships globally. His success in building teams, expanding markets for innovative technology and accelerating growth was evident at OpenExchange, IntraLinks and Elsag North America. While at Elsag, Rob helped customers such as the NYPD, the FBI and the Department of HOmeland Security deploy mission critical ALPR technology that supported border security and counter-terrorism efforts. Based in New York, Rob will be responsible for developing and supporting partners in North, Central and South America.
